THE IMPORTANCE OF SUNCREAM
Yesterday I learnt the hard way!!
I obviously put sun cream on too late!!
We went for a lovely walk, explore and a picnic. We were oblivious of the suns harmful rays and it caught us by surprise!
If in doubt apply it... All children are different with varying skins.
I know now that before we leave home, we will apply!!
Better to be safe than sorry!!
I am feeling very sorry today.
It did not even feel very warm.....

Yesterday I met a lovely lady, Alexa.
She runs baby massage groups in Faversham.
Here is a link to her Facebook page.
Baby massage is a positive way to spend time with your baby. Eye to eye contact and gentle relaxing massage is all important with bonding and gives much pleasure to mother/father and baby.
Take a look and register to attend her 5 week courses.
How will your life change having a baby??
So you have just discovered you are pregnant or you might be trying for a baby...
Well, stop, breath, relax and read on....
Being a parent should be a happy and joyful time..
The reality is you become exhausted!
Bombarded by different views and approaches, sleepless nights, endless obstacles..
I have been in childcare for 24 years, I have had my own children..
I think it has been a pretty easy ride compared to some of the awful experiences some people suffer and put up with.
What do we think about Grandparents looking after Grandchildren?
For some it is wonderful for both the Grandparents and the Grandchildren!
For others it can be a nightmare.
My children spent many a day and night with my lovely parents.
My Dad can get wound up quickly and has a short fuse, but deep down he loves being around my children.
Who wouldn't, it keeps you young!!
My parents have always followed my way and never have we conflicted that they knew better!
Childminders in the Ashford, KENT area are £4.50-£6.50 ph perchild.

Childcare is expensive. With vouchers available this can help.
Most childcarers are professionals with extensive childcare skills, you pay for what you get.
Do you want a clean, happy and stimulating environment for the most treasured person in your life?
What are childcare vouchers? How do they work?
Who can use them?
You can use childcare vouchers to pay for the childcare you use for your children. You can use them at a nursery or a Childminder or Nanny, they must be Ofsted registered.
The part of your gross salary you exchange for childcare vouchers is tax-free and exempt from National Insurance contributions (NI). Because of this, you can make savings of up to £933* a parent, a year. It doesn't cost you anything to sign up for
Nanny Agency Kent and surrounding areas.
Why use a nanny agency
Babes In The Wood is just what you have been looking for, the right place!
All your childcare requirements under one roof!
I have been in the childcare field for 24 & 1/2 years. I was a private nanny so I know what my families are looking for when searching for a new nanny!
I am more than a nanny agency, I run a Childcare Consultancy too! I can help you with any troubles you may tumble across with your little ones. I have years of experience of helping families with sleep training, I have given advice and support on weaning, potty training, behaviour issues, mealtime difficulties.
Right way or wrong way!!
Weaning is the process of introducing solid foods into a baby's diet.
It is a gradual process.
By about 6 months, sometimes earlier, your baby will become used to this gentle milestone. In my opinion food is most importantly given slowly and at your baby's pace. Start with just plain baby rice. Just mix up to a loose texture and place towards the lips and allow your baby to lick taste and decide whether she wants to continue.
You will introduce one mealtime to start for a week or so.
